General Information about Cheval Manor Facilities:

Main Barn/Arena:  60x120 (7,200 s.f.), unheated/uncooled open arena with soft dirt floor and 14’ high rafters (great for decorating!).  Main barn also contains 8 horse stalls, office area, small bath, plus access to the large 800sf loft apartment, complete with private bath, kitchenette and balcony. (This is perfect for the bride’s dressing room.)

The arena has large doors on three sides that can be open or completely closed.  During fair weather, the horses are brought out to pasture first thing in the morning and brought back into their stalls about dusk.  You can understand why loud music and excessive activity in this structure is limited to the times when the horses are out to pasture.

The Stable/Pavillion: Located near the pond, the expansive grassy jump field and the Cottage, the 1440 s.f. , totally white columned barn with 3 decorative cupolas is a very versatile building for your party needs. The decorating opportunities are unlimited! Measuring 20’ x 72’, the Pavillion is free-span structure, meaning there are no interior posts to consider when placing tables, designing your wedding ceremony, placing your band, dance floor or food tables. This building serves double duty as  stabling for weary interstate travelers with horses when not in use for weddings and/or events.   Complete with electrical service, and enclosed on 3 sides, this building will protect your event from all but the most driving rains. Although this new building is not heated or cooled, and it has an earthen floor, we will provide a short pile commercial type carpeting for your use. It is expected to be the favorite location for our larger parties and events, due to its wide open grassy area (perfect for seating a large guest list), proximity to the pond and horses grazing in the adjacent pastures (both perfect as backdrops for the wedding ceremony), the Cottage and parking nearby.
