Our Facilities

Cheval Manor is situated on 47 acres, pasture and timber mix. The main barn/arena consists of 8 (eight) 12' x 12' stalls, wash rack (hot and cold water), cross ties, locker/tack room and an indoor office with restroom. These stalls are designed with fire safety in mind. Each stall has TWO doors: one door that opens to the arena, and a dutch door that opens to the outside. In case of an emergency, all horses can be let out of the barn from the outside.

Our new secondary shed-row barn has 6 additional stalls, with a generous 8' covered porch to keep your equine friend from the elements. This barn is reserved for "Self-care" boarders only. These are perfect for those horse owners on a tight budget, but wanting the best for your friend, plus the peace of mind knowing that there is a nice, dry, safe stall waiting for them whenever needed: during periods of extreme weather or any other times they may need to be confined safely and dry kept inside. All self-care boarders keep their own stalls neat and clean (cleaned every day), provide turn-out and turn-in as desired, plus provide for all other costs of horse ownership (hay, feed, shavings, supplements, etc.) (See rates below.)

Currently under construction ---(with the help of our great boarders!) is a large informal outdoor arena. measuring approximately 100' x 250'. When completed (hopefully this spring!), it will be a great place to ride, jump, practice barrels, pole-bending...whatever your heart desires!

We also have a full round pen available for training.

Miles of trails are accessible right out the back door, plus if you have wanderlust, the opportunity awaits you for nearly unlimited places to ride in our area, criss-crossed with lightly traveled country roads.

Our Jump Field is located down by the picturesque pond, which is stocked with very friendly little fishies that love to be fed by the kids! If you are patient, they will even come up and eat out of your hand!

We often have get-togethers at the Cabana House and pool. The loft apartment over the Cabana House is occasionally available for rent; a perfect situation for a single or couple with horses to live on-site with them. The Cabana House is also available to rent for graduation parties, birthday parties, small weddings or reunions.

OUR RATES:
Stall board (currently $275 per month), includes full use of all facilities, turnout as directed by owner, daily cleaning of stalls, and feeding twice daily (owner provides feed and hay). Our managers are always happy to care for your horse in the manner they are accustomed to being cared for. Call or email for availability. (Additional services, such as blanketing, handling for vet/farrier, etc. can be arranged for additional charges.)

Pasture board (currently $175 per month), includes use of all facilities, includes 24/7 turnout in a large pasture, often with other pasture buddies. Owner provides hay. Call or email for availability.

Self Care board (currently $200 per month) includes use of all facilities, full pasture plus stall to use as much or as little as you and your horse desire. All responsibilities and costs are borne by the boarder (hay, feed, shavings, supplements, cleaning stall, turn-out, turn-in, etc.) Self care board is available only in our new 6 stall Shed-row barn at the end of the jump field.
